MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Culpeper Lady Ballers Girls AAU basketball team is to participate in AAU tournaments located in the state of Virginia, and Maryland. The Culpeper Lady Ballers Girls AAU basketball program is a volunteer, 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing female student athletes, ages 5 through 16, with the opportunities to grow in the following areas:
1. In the game of basketball, including instruction and competition at all levels.
2. To teach the concept of athletics, sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-discipline.
3. To teach knowledge of time management, goal setting, and academics in creating future opportunities.
4. To render assistance to those athletes seeking to attend college.
TEAM PHILOSOPHIES
One of the basic beliefs that the Director has stressed for the Culpeper Lady Ballers Girls AAU basketball program is that every effort is made to insure that no student-athlete is unable to participate because of economic hardship. Culpeper Lady Ballers Girls AAU basketball program is to provide fundamental skill development instruction for young student-athletes in our community who have a desire to compete the higher level of AAU basketball competition. Culpeper Lady Ballers Girls AAU basketball program and the coaching staff are committed to providing an opportunity for players to expand both their knowledge…and their love…for the game of basketball…in an environment that teaches about respect, teamwork, sportsmanship, commitment and hard work. The goal is to strive for excellence…both on and off the court.
